Project Description

Set in a speculative future defined by "The Silence", an era where the pain of missed connections is managed through digital erasure—this project explores the physical shape of regret. The narrative follows Sam, who discovers the archive of her grandmother, a former "Ghost Hunter" tasked with "cutting" unresolved memories to maintain social efficiency. Challenging this binary logic of deletion, the project presents a taxonomy of "Ghost" data sculptures. Drawing inspiration from the Symbolic Language of Scars, these 3D forms translate abstract emotional data such as the velocity of a fleeting glance or the heaviness of unsaid words into tangible artifacts. The project culminates in the design of "The Bridge," an interactive tool that transforms the user's role from a passive observer of loss into an active participant in healing, proposing that the interface of memory should afford resolution, not just removal.
