IMG Market is a platform designed for designers and creative practitioners to share inspiration through spontaneous visual exchange. The initial idea came from a common creative frustration: people often need fresh visual input quickly, yet there is no lightweight, immediate, and embodied way to share what inspires them. This led to a simple but powerful interaction: holding up your phone in front of the camera to “hand over” an image. The gesture transforms image sharing from a purely digital operation into an act of embodied interaction, where inspiration is literally passed from one person to another. Users can select any image from the page and capture what’s currently displayed on their phone as the item of exchange, completing a reciprocal and open-ended visual trade. More than just a gallery, IMG Market forms a micro-ecosystem where creative ideas circulate freely. It encourages natural, intuitive encounters between images and creators, allowing inspiration to move, collide, and evolve with minimal friction.
