With the help of Claude.AI, I created an interactive Christmas game that brings a playful, creative twist to the holiday season. Built in p5.js, the piece gives users only 30 seconds to design the most stunning Christmas tree they can—turning decoration into a moment of urgency, joy, and pure holiday instinct. The goal was to make something light, fun, and creative that still feels intentional. Players can even save and download their finished tree, leaving them with a personal little artifact of their own making. What excites me about this project is how it transforms a familiar holiday tradition into a fast-paced digital experience. Every tree becomes different and deeply personal, even within the tight time limit, which makes the game feel alive and unpredictable. It’s a reminder that creativity doesn’t need endless time—sometimes pressure brings out the best ideas. However, I do wish I had pushed the interactivity even further. If I continued this project, I would experiment with clever features like the finished tree automatically sending to your email or generating a custom holiday card. There’s so much room to expand the experience, and thinking about those possibilities makes me excited to keep growing this piece. Overall, this project blends technology, nostalgia, and play in a way that feels true to my design voice and what I love to create.
